Leda?

How do you find Leda, ive played Gallo Tower about 5 times now, ive gone all the way down to the point where the map is just a circle and black all around, up to 25mins and higher, and i still havent .. found him. I mean ive even beat the crab.
Have i gone too far and gone past him?

You have to go real far down.
You've seen the darkness, keep going, way past the Crab.
Eventually it gets pitch black and he will appear/spawn, you can't miss it.
Hyper is advised, otherwise you will have a hard time covering all that ground.

I feel you pain, I went full evolved and run like 5 min through the pitch black part with all the effects of the weapons making me blind...and I didn't encounter leda...

Actually you CAN miss it, he moves slowly and will not teleport to you like a normal boss, so it's entirely possible to run past him in the dark and never see him. My advice would be to slow down a bit and check carefully once the stage is pitch black, he should be only a little further at that point.

I've counted floor pentagrams to know how many tiles I moved. Leda spawns around 32-40 tiles downwards, if the music stops you're going to be 2~4 tiles away from my experience.

Go down to the point where everything is black and the audio changes, and then thoroughly explore the rooms that follow. He will be hiding in there somewhere.

What they said. But also try not to skip leveling up cause you will find him maybe around 10 minute mark and the enemies will not stop coming while he's in there. And he has a ton of HP, took me several minutes to kill him, he's immune to pentagram both normal and evolved.

Seeing as he's currently the fastest, Red Death is by far the easiest character to use to run into the darkness quickly.

You can use Krochi just as well.

I did it with Pugnala... Even went north to get the bracer, which meant waiting til about 10 minutes in, in order to fill my accessories up before taking Bracer. Still made it far enough south to reach Leda and kill them.

Thanks, i'll have to try it again later then, might have to turn music back on again as well, been playing it on mute while listening to othe rmusic.

Stick close to the middle and you won't miss him.
