Leda?

How do you find Leda, ive played Gallo Tower about 5 times now, ive gone all the way down to the point where the map is just a circle and black all around, up to 25mins and higher, and i still havent .. found him. I mean ive even beat the crab.
Have i gone too far and gone past him?

I can confirm his is very easy to miss. I hit the pure dark area at 10min. and spent 20.min going right down. Didn't see anything. I was listening to my own music though, so that must be the key.

Yeh i eventually found him, i tried to go down as reasonably slow as possible and going back up here and there, you dont even need to beat the crab for him to appear, seems like once you get to a certain point he will be there. So the fact that i couldnt find him after 25mins probably meant i ran too far down way past him and he never caught up since he moves quite slow?

It's a massive pita.. I'm playing the frikken tower for literal hours now to try to get Leda. I unlocked all the arcanas and almost all other lvl100 unlocks in there. Killed blue reaper there, unlocked toastie... Heck I did the cursed Lama run for 30 minutes there. I'm also quite confident with my build, it's just that the stupid ball thingy refuses to show up.

Fun fact: I've seen him once but it was too late and he got killed by the 30min mark.. didn't count obv.

Question: some tutorial mentioned that when the music stops you ran too far? However the music changes to this eery underwater-esque ambient sound right after the level turn pitch black. You're supposed to go further down? (And yes, I tried the slow approach)

Spent all night locking for Leda, music stopped and waited, slowly moved down, tons of exclamation mark attacks, in fact so many u cant stay there, u can have 5 evolutions and still its difficult to make it there now...dunno if it's because he's the new red death meta char...but getting him seems way harder than before seeing others get him....not to mention the drowner bs

You just need some decent movement speed. Don't use any Curse. Take Krochi, start going down around 20 minutes. It takes a bit to take him down.

With hyper mode the getting there is not an issue.. I was confused by some guide that mentioned "if the music stops, you're too far". That was not correct in my case. I think I went down 3 or 4 tilesets after bgm switch and then he appeared. My build was already obliterating all waves so I feared I killed him offscreen, but he has indeed a ton of health and couldn't be missed.

It's easy to miss if you go too fast, when music stopped I started to do side to side movements moving slowly down to find it.

Just move down along the center of the map instead of along the side and you will literally run into it.

he has an enourmous HP pool. and when you defeat him, the darkness gets lifted from the area/
go alll the way down until all you can literally see is the tiny circle in center of screen, way below the pooint where you see the runic symbols on the left anmd right outside the tower

Off hypermode with a character without speed boosts I can't see it taking more than 12 minutes of constant walking.

Turn up the game music. Keep going down and vision will be limited. Go further down and the music will change. When music changed, you're close. Start sweeping every room at this point.

^^ Listen for the music change. That means Leda is in the next room or 2

Is it possible to kill him without realizing it, since everything is dark?
