Toastie Clarification

When unlocking Toastie, is the down key you are meant to press the down arrow key or the "s" key (since that's the key to move down)? Asking because my laptop's old and not all of the keys work consistently, so I'd like to be pressing the right buttons.

It's the down arrow, the s key won't do it. I alternated down and enter rapidly until I heard the sound. Christine is useful in attempts, since Glorious Moon will deal with Stalker (Green Reaper) and it's guaranteed to appear at minute 21.

A new secret character, which you can unlock on the Dairy Plant by pressing enter + down arrow in a time window of 0.5 seconds after killing the green reaper.

The green reaper seems to have 33% spawn chance at minute 8 and 12. You can kill him with one of the carts or Pentagram/Rosario.

Toastie is Exdash in pink and has 1hp. Don't know about the rest of the stats.

Dex found Stalker's spawn criteria in the code and posted it on Reddit: it's 1% at minute 0, 30% at minute 8, and 100% at minute 21 (modified by the luck stat). So if you're looking to get Toastie, run Christine and shoot for Glorious Moon before that 21 minute mark. I can't recall if Hyper is required or not; I always run on Hyper.

I can confirm using down arrow + keyboard with gorgeous moon worked. As for what toastie does exactly, I'm not sure, but it seems like they might get more health as they level?

They get more Luck, just like Exdash. At lvl 100 they get 10000 HP, and at lvl 200 they get 65500 armor, making Toastie immune to Death.

Apart from the HP, Toastie's starting stats are identical to Exdash's (ie. terrible).

ive done dairy plant at least 50 times and never seen the green reaper. so there is definitely not a 100% chance for him to show at 21 mins.

Apart from the HP, Toastie's starting stats are identical to Exdash's (ie. terrible).

Toastie also gets +20% MoveSpeed, whereas Exdash gets -10%. Toastie with Exdash's MoveSpeed would make it outright impossible to win instead of just extremely unlikely.

Ya it not a 100% chance for him to come at 21 - I did Diary Plant like 30 times and i saw him 5 ish in total.

She's kinda difficult to play as with her 1HP Health value. And I think building her up with Soul Eater and/or Bloody Tears and Laurel is a justifiable counter argument for those Soul Eater bashers out there.

I was using my controller and tried it and it didnt seem to work, I ended up just pausing the game when I hit down+pause

Would prefer others still test it but I didnt get the jingle until I tried down key+enter

I'm not sure about gamepads but even with a keyboard you have to use exactly down arrow and Enter. Even using S with Enter doesn't work.

Personally, I really hate this unlock system. Would rather the character unlocked automatically if you made the Stalker drop a chest.

Yeah, idk. I was ready, my Pentagram killed him, I pressed Down Arrow and Enter (not numpad) a splitsecond after he died, and nothing happened. Pretty annoying unlock method, but it pays homage to the time-sensitive combos of the old Mortal Kombat games, so I guess it's fine. Not like the character is super-special or anything.
Edit: Dammit, three times now I've somehow not triggered it :(
