Toastie unlock?

Any idea how to unlock her with a controller? I'm using a Ps4 controller and I hit down on the D-Pad and the "share" button, but that didn't work. I'm not really sure what "down" and "start" are considered on this controller. There's not a controller setup that I can find that'd let me know ether.

"Start" should be whatever button lets you pause the game. I'm not sure it's working correctly for Toastie unlocking specifically, though; I ended up using the keyboard for that one purpose.

Yeah, I've started using the arrow keys around the 8 minute mark. I still don't know what the start key is for keyboard. I thought it was enter, but when I press it, it just changes the size of the screen. So, I'm hitting the arrow keys to move around and hitting the controller when I get a level up to select my items.

Ok, I found out if I hit alt, then enter, it let's enter select things. Managed to defeat the green reaper, and started spamming down+enter, but didn't get an unlock? Wtf.

you cannot use a controller to do this, it must be a keyboard.

the down arrow key must be the "↓", wasd keys won't work.
i'm not sure if you can use the "enter" key on the numpad, but i used the one above Rshift.

exdash also needs to be unlocked first if i remember correctly.

Yeah, I've got exdash unlocked. I'm using the actual arrow keys, and the enter above the rshift. Do you have to *hold* down then hit enter or just tap it?

hold it down, although there's not much of a window to do that. essentially requiring you to tap both at nearly the same time.
