I ran down into the blue field, and after going deeper, lots of bubbles started to form. I might have killed something while I was there, it was a bit hard to tell.
I think you can kill them with Pentagram?
I'd assume it's not actually supposed to spawn there at all.
How is acting strategically and intelligently abusing mechanics? Are we not allowed to use our brains?
Why is running around like a headless chicken considered the only allowable set of actions in most games?
I took damage when i entered the water in bone zone, so assuming its working (maybe intermittently).
The blue reaper only seems to spawn if you head far enough south.
Walking downwards endlessly to completely avoid its mechanic isn't one of the strategies that works, because it seems that the dev has also used their brain, realized that people would do that, and decided to prevent it.
Yeah, I've seen it work in a stream yesterday, not sure why it didn't in my game.
It could also be some sort of fake out hiding an achievement later. Train you to avoid the water in one zone, later on you have to dive to accomplish something.
Or a bug. Who knows.
