Can you evolve dog's weapon?

what do the flowers do exactly anyway? besides flying in strange pattern and tiny damage to enemies?

Ah, i see. Shame, i bet it would be pretty hilarious. :D

Still, it doesn't really need it. I finished library by going to one of those corners with the dog, like a little alcove with the table, then went to the right corner of it and put something heavy on the "up" button (once i leveled flowers fully), and when i returned i won, death killed me lol.

They fly away from the direction you're holding, behind you.
They're great with candelabra, duplicator and cooldown reduction. :)

They feel kind of like opposite of the knife subweapon, they fly away from you, rather than ahead, following your momentum (o rat least move speed), they do damage on contact... seen some... spread pollen?. Apparently level 8 version of the weapon actually cases you to get a heal from the flowers, which is nice. The only issue perhaps is... you NEED to move, can't stop moving or the flowers will be mostly useless

The weapon is for healing and some minor utility, the damage is pretty much non-existent.
Also yes, it's 'exclusive' / rare tier weapon that won't get evo (like bone / cherrybomb / cart), though cat is much likely to get evo instead.

Why are people saying that the Flowers don't do much damage? It's probably the highest burst DPS in the game so far (outside of the 1-shots). Able to burn down mini-bosses and even the Crab boss in Gallo Tower. I clocked the Crab boss in 23 seconds.

yeah it seems weak because you have to move but if you run into a wall with the boss in the other direction the boss is shredded

On its own not really, but supported with few select upgrades like cooldown reduction, it really does melt down mobs. :D

I'm gonna try doing a dog run in the bone zone, see if i can win. :D
