Any similar games?

I love this game but i want more of it! I am looking for similar games (Twin/Single stick shooters with random perks to choose from when you level up). Can anyone recommend any?

I currently have Nation Red and i that fits the bill perfectly. I would be all over Crimsonland but i have sort of been put off with the gameplay and TotalBiscuits (RIP) impressions from way back. I'm not after score attack games like Beat Hazard or Rougelikes like Binding of Issac/Gungeon. I just a game like this and Nation Red :)

I don't have Versus Squad (aka Nation Red 2) but that is on my watch list.

Today I played "elements survival" a brand new one... stay away atm. it's early access so I did not gave it a negative yet but ya.. overpriced and not much fun.

The reviews are fake in my eyes. all free key reviews. Do not trust them. I got it for free too and I can tell ya.. atm it's not worth. It has potential but it's far away from being worth

The genre is "shmup" and "bullet hell" google that and you should find thousands, tho not many are as well fleshed out as this game

Different genre. That covers more the arcade-style games than this. It definitely is a descendant, but it's also a descendant of survivor-horror and roguelike/lite.

It's easier to look for the roguelike tag on Steam and watch for the $2.99-4.99 USD games, though that will miss the free/cheaper ones and the handful that are more expensive.

Edit: As a response to the original post before the genre exploded and this discussion evolved, it's a pretty good one :)

If anyone finds this later, this debate is super interesting and we cover the whole thing at the r/survivorslikes subreddit (https://reddit.com/r/survivorslikes). People like bullet heaven but as some in the thread noted many of the rogue-lite horde survival games (like boneraiser minions) simply aren't bullet heavens. Some are bullet hells. Some are hack and slash. And so on. But we're pretty inclusive of all of them there.

I'm working on a spreadsheet that breaks them down by 60 feature categories so you can tell at a glance what is an arcade game with waves but no meta progression, what is a single stick shooter, what has twin stick controls, etc. It's linked in the subreddit header!

VS combat in a diablo like

Is there an arpg like diablo with the auto combat of vampire survivor? Like i mean games like grim dawn, diablo, poe with the only thing from VS being the autocombat.

I've been eyeballing 'Halls of Torment' here on Steam, though it's not QUITE what I think you mean? It's got the style, and heard good things during a Castle Superbeast stream. Holding off till it cooks more as its Early Access, but worth a look?

Edit: Actually, looks like they dropped a free pseudo demo 'Halls of Torment: Prelude', which I didn't realize, might check that out myself soon to boot.
