BUG - Unable to upgrade items

When i have a full load out and maxed everything out, and i pick up more than 1 additional item i don't have yet from the map. I am unable to upgrade the item and instead only get money or chicken. With upgrades available on the items i picked up. All the best love this game. SO GOOD!!!!!!!!

Did you use Banish on it before? If so, you can still get it from the map, but can't upgrade it

are u sure u have the right passive item to upgrade?

to upgrade u need to fullfill 2 conditions
1 - u need the weapon on lvl 8 and the passive at lvl 1
2 - u need a chest that dropped after 10 min
(the birds and the guns are exceptions where u need everything at max)

I appreciate the time. but not asking for how to play just reporting a bug for developer. I think you two miss read what i was trying to say. Got every achievement, know well how the game works.
If i get to the point i am fully upgraded. collecting chicken or money on every level. and then pick up a new item from the map. I am unable to upgrade that item (not weapon) and still only get the option between chicken or money, when i should get the option to upgrade the new item i just picked up.
New problem as of the new update never a problem before. BUG reporting to help.

Met this bug few times: had 8 lvl weapons and items for them - but once gained gold instead, and 1-2 times gained levelup of item. Unfortunally have no clue about conditions of that bug.

I've had this bug, can confirm. One item at level 2, rest maxxed, and upgrades wouldn't offer anything. Hadn't used banish.

same here but after picking up a chest i got the item on the next lvlup

No you didn't. If you wanted to report a bug you would obviously have done it in the bug reporting forum. Because there's no way you would dream of typing out an entire post before taking 0.1 second to glance at the list of forum. I mean, I can not imagine that anyone willing to tell others that they are wrong would do that kind of thing.

who did i say was wrong? i thanked them for the advice and explained further what i was trying to say in the og post. And no did not know about the BUG forum, first time commenting to help make a game i love better.... Ratley you must be a mean person in real life. Sorry you took offense and whatever i said downloaded in your crazy brain as something bad. Hope whatever is going on in your life gets better.

It's not a bug, certain weapons CANNOT be merged even at full level untill after minute 20. In some cases I've expirienced even untill the minute 30.
