Experimental Lag Fix (Thank you!)

In the past few weeks, I've been attempting to play this, but I was unfortunately part of the small group of people that had hardware/software incompatibility issues with the previous engine. I was experiencing essentially unplayable slowdown before the menu could even load.

Playing the itch.io version worked a bit better, but not great, only working when my GPU and CPU were only available for the single task.

Whether this tweak is a glimpse at the new engine, or just some minor change, the "Experimental Lag Fix" is working perfectly for me, and I hope as well for others.

If anyone else has been having issues, try it out!

(And for the developer: if you'd like any info on my system configuration, I can provide any details that might help you. I'm running a very weird combo of new and old hardware and software, so I might could provide some insight on drivers and hardware that's been having issues. Please let me know if I can provide any info going forwards, I already think I have an idea as to what was causing issues/slowdowns.)

I am using an old HP Envy from 2013... The game only runs on the ELF so I am glad for that as we played it all weekend lol,

Thanks man! I was so frustrated not being able to play this gem on a laptop while the desktop is being used by my kids.

Sadly it performs worse on my Steam Deck. The regular works far better. I tried reaching out on the discord, but it's radio silent.

I've had the same issues, unable to play the game as it refused to detect my GPU and was running solely on CPU. My setup is Windows 7 with AMD GPU. Experimental Lag Fix is working like a charm. Thank you devs!
Since I tried it like 2-3 days ago I already logged 15 hours. Great game and the only issue preventing me from playing was solved.
