Any similar games?
I love this game but i want more of it! I am looking for similar games (Twin/Single stick shooters with random perks to choose from when you level up). Can anyone recommend any?

I currently have Nation Red and i that fits the bill perfectly. I would be all over Crimsonland but i have sort of been put off with the gameplay and TotalBiscuits (RIP) impressions from way back. I'm not after score attack games like Beat Hazard or Rougelikes like Binding of Issac/Gungeon. I just a game like this and Nation Red :)

I don't have Versus Squad (aka Nation Red 2) but that is on my watch list.

Similar gameplay: Crimson Land, Iron Fisticle (which is amazing, I highly recommend)

Similar vibe: Loop Hero, Nova Drift

Sadly I can't thin of any game that allows you to just run around while it auto-shoots. Otherwise the games I'd recommend is SYNTHETIK and maybe Brigador.

magic survival, I'm kind of surprised at how popular this game is compared to that one. I don't know what happened to make this one blow up so much, but I remember first playing magic survival months ago so when I first saw this I figured (rightly) that I had already experienced most of what this genre had to offer.

Most likely it was this game being featured on "Dangerously Funny" a youtube lets play channel with like 2 million subs. After that it just steamrolled, no pun intended. That and all the castlvania assets for the nostalgia crowd.

If we only talk about builds, then Binding of Isaac Rebirth is probably the best in its category.

This game is on the other hand much more difficult. I spent 500 hours on this, I still haven't finished.

This.

Nation Red has online coop as well. You can stack perks which creates very different games every time. Fun game.

It's also on steam, and not on a phone.

Thanksfully, the gaming world doesn't revolve around Youtubers.
I just saw the game on Steam's main page, and thought it looked good (and especially cheap).

DEATHSTATE
auto shoot roguelite
Not amazing, but very good for what it is.

I'm pretty sure it does though. When videos about a decent game start to get millions of views then there is a significant bump in not only the playerbase but things like search engines and communities.
