over time, his passive completely negats curse or green acres hp bonus (or makes normal just "easier")
also evo whip will help surviving a lot, just heal up all small mistakes
HP, Armor and Regen are finally things that I consider taking. In that regard, the third map succeeds in shaking stuff up a little. It is a viable tactic to expect taking a hit to get through a tanky enemy. Map 3 also ups the desirability of Move Speed, which you might want to take to get all upgrades on it.

New level is fine, you just need to forget some habits you got from other levels and try different weapon combinations. Library was mostly a constant stream of many fragile enemies, with the new map the waves are quite varied and it's often a few strong enemies, so relying mostly on large AOE will not work as efficiently, you need some weapons that are a bit more focussed. I found that the whip was rather efficient there, and the garlic might be interesting thanks to its knock-back buff and instant kill of the fireballs from those two headed towers.
Also I checked your achievements and I think you may need to farm a bit more on previous levels to unlock more powerups.
