Evolving knife and bible

Those are the only two achievements I have yet to unlock but it seems they don't want to evolve they decided.
Is there a special way to make those two evolve in particular, like having another specific weapon at level 8 ?
I always try my best to max up luck (power up and clover item maxed) and to have those weapons at lvl 8 before any other, but nothing :(

You know you need specific passive items to evolve weapons, right?
For the Bible it's the Spellbinder and for the Knife it's the Bracer.

also you dont need luck. if you have the combo and the game is past 10 min its a 100% drop from a chest.

Everyone has their favorites, but its wise to experiment a bit. If paired with the proper weapons, both the Bracers and Spell Binder can be quite good, Spellbinder works well with the birds, bible, rune tracer, bones, laurel, santa water and lancet. The Bracers are quite nice with Bones, Knives, Cross, Wand and the Rune Tracer.

Bracer is also good with bible since it raises the Spin Speed, making it more likely for the wall of projectiles to intersect with an enemy multiple times!
