Their weapons are very similar. They both fire projectiles that bounce around and both weapons are exclusive and locked from all other chars. So there must be some connection, I guess.
p.s. Yatta's weapon is far superior in my book, he just made Mortaccio obsolete.
False. You can get them on other characters, rarely.

Both are stepping on Genarro, though.

What if Mortaccio was originally Yatta before he became the Living Skeletal Undead? As he Bonified Yatta's Cherry Bombs calcified and turned into the boney weapons they are now in his Skeletal Undead form. This could also explain why both of them have Achievement unlocks that require the player to have 'em both reach level one hundred.
