I can see how it can be annoying though if you have a favorite build and run out of re-rolls.
It's for experienced players that know how to use it. Faster enemies means they get to your damage sooner too. And more enemies means more kills/experience.
It increases the quantity of enemies as well. AKA more experience points.
Then they just could let you add more curse during the Stage selection or add a Nightmare Mode
I shouldn't build up my character in-game to add him an handicap, it's absolutely the wrong way to add challenge
I just think we shouldn't have something messing with our power up slots
I saw Dex's video on Youtube where he demonstrated this new mechanic even before it dropped as he's on the Beta Branch.
He said Garlic is actually Bad for a Cursed run. Is it though?
That would be a good way to update the game. Have power ups and curses categories for map modifiers and such.
Dex does a number of things poorly IMO. Not that I dislike him. He's got good banter and this game is good for his sub numbers. But he's not always right. There are many ways to play the game.
Garlic is great for with curse. You'll run into the waves that you can't kill just ramming them instantly much sooner, but it's not a big deal. Just keep leveling it and get spinach.
Besides, dev already said they're working on adjusting Curse and will do so often over time,
Thanks for the replies :)
I actually prefer LetsTryGG's Vampire Survivors playthroughs than Dex's because he (LetsTryGG) even made Exdash look enjoyable to play as. The only reason I even watch Dex's videos was of his Clerici Method of obtaining Red Death.
