Well atleast you can play with only one hand

Things are so hectic at times and the way that a lot of weapons are being a twin stick shooter would not be all that beneficial without a significant rework of them. As is right now it would make some weapons either more op, more redundant (ie Magic Wand and Knife) or not set up for actual twin stick aiming capabilites (Runetracer, Santa Water, Lightning Ring, the 2 new weapons on beta) so they would be either be exactly the same or have to be completely changed.

Plus the way it currently is, it lets you focus more on moving and dodging and not worrying that you are aiming at something.

yeah i understand its more of auto attack..and focus on movement..however, if you can attack manually you can kill mobs and make a path for your self...its just my preference i know but i just feel like its a missed opportunity. it would be like twin shooter meets bullet hell kinda of thing...regardless good game

There's a few weapons that can make a path. Specifically knife, but also whip and axe can do that in the earlier parts of the game. Santa water also has a predictable attack pattern, but it's harder to focus on.

If the OP likes a Twin Stick Shooter styled game that has that Vampire Survivors feel to it, then might I suggest Nova Drift to you?

Like GeminiEclipse said, there are plenty of weapons in the game that make a path for you in predictable or manipulatable ways so you can accomplish your goal of reaching a area that you want to go. No need to rework most of the game to accomplish that. Especially since it has already reached such popularity as is.

its not about the path ...it just feels like a weird choice to have an auto attack...but lets agree to disagree. i still would have preferred a twin shooter, didn't research much b4 purchase as its price is low..anyway enjoy the game

will check it out thx for that...also Zombie Party is a cool twin shooter that has a similar look (not gothic though)

there are so many twin-stick shooters already, I like games like Vampire Survivors or Magic Survival (which was the main inspiration for this game) because they do things different than 80% of 2D top down shooters

edit: Nova Drift is not a twin-stick shooter either, the base controls are like Asteroids.
