Then for trinkets it's mainly attractorb (until the gems at the end of the whip area are pulled), bracer (bibles spin faster), duplicator (always), empty tome (lowers cooldowns and makes garlic procc faster), spinach (more damage), and Spellbinder (makes lancet last longer)
Takes A LOT of restarting until you get the right RNG. 90% of the time the first big Mummy kills you.
EDIT: I may replace one of the weapons with a Laurel, maybe the fire wand. Poor Poe can't take hits.
Garlic's evolution is however affected by how much you've healed total since picking it up. So, if you play Clerici and get Soul Eater, you can pickup Hollow Hearts afterwards and then power it up. I don't know if it works with HP regen admittedly. It might just be from generic healing instead.
Well about 10 seconds later I'm in a bullet hell as a tree who can only move 1 inch per hour but somehow I survived.
Not being able to move is a fun challenge. You probably want to pick a character with a already evolved base weapon , Silent old sanctuary if going with just a single weapon or two maybe, Mad groove and some pick up range so you can still get EXP.
Eggs would make it easy which removes the whole challenge so I would say turn those off , Santa water / La Borra are really good for just standing still but you need something to keep you alive until you get that rolling.
