Empty Tome pickup removed from library?

I used to be able to find it easily, but since last few games I have been unable to find it after getting stone mask, even by walking left untill the map was won.

It seems so, I couldn't find empty tome and stone mask last time I've tried library.

I played after last update and found the tome no problem. Maybe it doesn't appear every game now, or maybe you missed it.

stonemask is still obtainable with latest patch, (so far it popped up everytime when walking right way, at least in hyper mode)
havent seen the empty tome for a while.

Its still there, literally just played a few minutes ago. Maybe they thought it was too strong since you can technically have 7 passives, 5 hand picked and the tomb and mask. You just need to keep walking untill you find them it just might be further than you think. I havent, however, seen the second free tomb even further left than the first. I would like a confirmation if that is still there or have they removed it.

In the last patch I had 2 runs where both the tome and stone mask didn't spawn.

in the current patch i have had runs in which the tome spawned 4 screens to the left, others in which it spawned 7 screens to the left. If i were to guess it is either some rng bad luck or a bug.

It still shows up on hyper mode. At least it did last night.

I found it when I played earier today. Hyper mode was enabled.

Just adding I also found it, but I was playing Hyper Mode too. And I picked it up as my extra passive outside of the full passive slots.

I just checked now and it was still there in hyper mode. I think normal mode was a chance of spawning I recall reading.

I always get the mask still, but was unable to find the book even after running left for 20 minutes.

As a sidenote: Would be great if these drops would allow aplayer selected item, rather than fixed stuff. Also need this on all maps. ;-)

It feels like they have been consistently missing for me in the first run after launching the game, but they show up every run after that as normal. It seems fine even if I just immediately quit the first run and go again.

Sometimes I can't find it. It would be nice to have some sort of indicator that the thing spawned or not.
