Is the same engine they used in THE SIMS 3?
This looks like they use the same assests and engine as the sims 3. Used to play sims 3 all the time back in the day, and i can recognize it a mile away. In fact, it looks very similiar to the sims 3 style of characters and actions. I looked at the trailer and it seems to be very similiar, I hope they is not stolen IP's or all the copyright paperwork has been done right.

Fun fact, the original The Movies from Lionhead was made with the same engine as the sims 3.

Im not a troll, i was just being curious. There is a difference. I feel sorry you cannot recognize this. Check my older posts to prove it. Count to see how many troll posts i ever made. The proof is there.

It looks nothing like The Sims 3 besides having characters and buildings...

Im talking about the actions the simulated people do, how they move and act. I was wondering possibly if they use the same engine from the trailer i saw. I have not played the game myself, so that is why i was asking. Considering your first answer was claiming i was a troll, i will ignore your answer and see if anyone else has constructive criticism that is more truthful since you claim everyone posting a honest post as a troll.

To be fair it lends quite a bit from that style. Nothing wrong with that. Sims was and is a great game. Always surprised me that they didn't try something like this for a package. Well they sort of did but it was low quality.

Eh. I do agree that the art style does have Sim-like vibes to it, it's actually something that was part of why it caught my eyes to begin with. But while the style does seem similar in ways it's also different. Probably just influenced by people who grew up playing the Sims, really, rather than trying to outright copy-paste things. At least that's the vibe it gives me.

The acting career for The Sims 4 was a bit limited, sadly :/

Yea, the sim story games. I never really liked them myself. I was honsetly thinking this game was kinda like that. That is why i was asking about it from the trailers and some bozo the clown accused me of being a troll. As I said, i was being honest about it.

True. In sims 2 we had the hollywood area, In sims 3, it was even less. They have it in sims 4 also but again, less then even in sims 3. I did have Jim Carey visit my house i think in Sims 1 one time during a hollywood party. I think in sims 1 it was the best, i think it was called Sims 1 Superstars.

Will Wright is at least in my book one of the all time great game designers, together with Sid Meier etc. It would be a shock if no one tried to copy their success :).

I hope this game is one of them ;).
