How to recruit the new characters

I was wondering what it takes to recruit the new playable characters.

So far I managed to recurit Monica, Marina and Flammar:
- Monica after rescuing Gian
- Marina after obtaining the Black Diamond
- Flammar after obtaining the Ruby Fatestone

Has anyone managed to recruit Aldorra or Shiele?

You can recruit shciele when you completed the quest related to her.
Aldora I think you can refer to the existing guides. There are requirements such as meeting the death, etc.

Some also require specific quests or time limits to meet them. In the original version i always had a hard time recruiting this one characters because i never got to them in time.

Some even require you to be in a specified quest at a specified time. Unless they changed it to make them easier to recruit, i suggest finding a guide if you can. I orignally had the strategy guide for the game, but when my house flooded in 2017, i lost it. It went into great detail about how to recruit everyone..but like i said, some are more complex to get than others. I suggest checking a guide if you can. Also, it might be nice if someone wrote a character recruitment guide here on steam. I even found some of the characters in this harder to recruit than the 102 stars of destiny in Suikoden games.

Just recruited Aldora after clearing 1000 floors of Purgatory, but no sprite change for Darque. Maybe next playthrough Aldora will be around? Unclear, unless anyone wants to let me know. Beat Shirach a few playthroughs ago (on my 6th), and she never joined (gave her back Diamond of Light, so maybe don't give her next time?). Every consecutive playthrough Shiele has shown up at every Pub only to draw me into Minion fight again to unlock Palace of Darkness. So ya, still haven't recruited Shiele, and would love the info on how to recruit her.

EDIT: Confirmed sprite change after you beat Saruin with Aldora in party (She must be alive at end of battle). There will be cutscene and next playthrough you can recruit her in her new form.

You need to recruit Schiele on the current cycle where you defeat Schirach. She appeared in all pub where she can spawn for her quest. If you already cleared her quest once, you can do the Minion event as early as ER 2 on the next cycle.
