Seems like for some technical issue they could not implement splint screen for all maps.
Hey Xena, thanks for answering so quickly. Whaaaat? I'm completely shocked right now tbh. Local PvP/split screen is the entire reason we have been playing Raging Blast 2 for so many years. It's a ton of fun with the kids. Technical reasons are behind this? Wow, that's something I wasn't expecting considering PS2/PS3 have been able to do it for many years now.
I hope they fix this because I bought the ultimate edition thinking we could play all of the maps together. It gets quite repetitive with only a single map.
Here's an older post.
The levels in Zero are gorgeous visually, so it's such a shame that we can't experience that together. Don't get me wrong, I'm very much looking forward to online gameplay, mainly because I also want to play with my brother, who lives on the other side of the country, but I also need the full local couch potato experience because we're playing this on the Steam Deck, which is hooked up to the big screen in the living room right now.
Is there any chance this feature will be patched back in?
@Godhan: The Series S is the reason?
It's still too early to say. But I believe its possible if the game lowers the resource quality only during split-screen.
Maybe somebody comes up with a mod.
If so this would be another game feature that we're used to playing in Raging Blast 2. RB2 supports a ton of players locally in tournament mode.
