That's why i wrote it all down
i7 recommended for unreal 5? who do you think you are fooling? i just sold the exact cpu that is on your recommended for dimes. its a trash cpu that wont even run most games in 2k.
https://dbsz.bn-ent.net
Found the guy who knows absolutely nothing about what he is talking about
how can i "know nothing" when i had this CPU and it was trash? tell me that?
Sounds like a you problem with your build lmao. Plus higher resolutions is more GPU heavy than CPU heavy.
my build was the exact CPU in the recommended, rtx 2060 super 8 gb, and 16 gm ram. the highest resolution i could run was 1080p with beraly scraping 60 fps in most games. and it was around 2020-21. after buying a new pc i sold that pc and almost nobody wanted to buy it so i had to lower the price.
in other words. i dont know where you got this information from but there is something wrong here. recommended could also mean running the game at a steady fps on 1080p and lowering some settings. there is no way that its refering to max settings. usually there is a third requirment that is for max settings. no way you can run it at 4k with that horrible cpu
Sounds like you bought a shoddy prebuilt if you're just talking about buying and selling PCs.
Those specs should not have had too much issues with 1080p gaming on high/very high settings with at least 60FPS.
Edit: I say this as someone who has built PCs and also know someone who plays with a similar config.
on 1080p. but not on heavy games like god of war or rdr 2, you still have to lower settings on games like that. the only games it runs on 60 with max settings and 1080p are games like elden ring which have outdated graphics. 4k is too much to ask for me so i aint greedy but there is an insane difference in quality between 2k and 1080p. more then any other setting changes. 1080p is just trash.
And the recommended settings written have never been for 4K, always for 1080p. When for 4K, it is specified.
Maybe one of your parts was faulty or was kneecapped in the drivers? Maybe it's by using an HDD instead of an SSD since the speed of HDDs can tank framerate in modern games? It sounds strange.
RDR 2 should average 60 FPS at 1080p with most settings being at Ultra with a 9700k and 2060 Super. Don't know about GoW though. Everything else after that is just your subjective tastes. I've played at 1080p, 2k, and 4k. I settle with 1080p as I want my games to have smooth frametimes with high framerate. Sounds like you play games that are attempting to look realistic though with in turn end up making them heavily demanding.
