No Super Saiyan Bardock?

I just beat everything in the story mode, every alternative path, bought every character in the store. No sign of SSJ Bardock. I take it he's just not in the game? Hopefully he comes as a DLC character.

Best guess? People really dislike the one OVA where he goes Super Saiyan, so they decided not to spend a character slot on it.

Could have split the difference and given it to him as a half-measure they way they gave Trunk SSR and Vegeta Blue Evolved, though, which presumably would have been a lighter lift than giving him a whole new moveset.

It's not, no. Your source is not quoting anything from Toriyama.

He said himself in an interview that GT is not canon, he consider it as taking place in another timeline. The canon is the content of the dragon ball manga and super manga.

The game is on unreal engine 5, that's literally the easiest engine to add mods to a game as if it's part of the game itself. Modders will manage to do it, just give it some time.

And? Still means the mods will take care of it. There's enough content in the game, and the three dlc coming, to be able to do without adding characters like ssj bardock before a modding tool is ready, even if it take a year.

And it will be faster, there's a 500$ bounty for someone making a viable modding tool.

Mod scene is moving really fast to be honest… we already have a fair bit.
