No Super Saiyan Bardock?

I just beat everything in the story mode, every alternative path, bought every character in the store. No sign of SSJ Bardock. I take it he's just not in the game? Hopefully he comes as a DLC character.

No SSJ Bardock is a hell of an oversight, even FighterZ remembered him and Fighterz didn't even bother giving the Blue versions of Goku and Vegeta Whis Armor and Gi to differentiate them..

They made them lower tier than SSJ Goku and Vegeta, which is sadly show accurate

Yeah i always felt like they always disrespected bardock even in the budokai 3 and the old tenkaichi games he couldn’t go super saiyan he could go great ape but never super saiyan especially since if it wasn’t for bardock we would not have one of the strongest characters in dragon ball history even if goku does get most of wins because of plot armor

In the canon, Janemba / Cooler / Wilo & Every movies characters doesn't exist. So by your logic they shouldn't be in the game.

We literally have a game where a Canon Broly can fight a Non-Canon Broly

More kids who don't know what's canon and what's not...
It's not like we know that the characters in the movies (at least the old ones) are NOT canon (that doesn't mean you can't play them in the game) that Broly DBZ is NOT canon, that Broly DBS IS canon etc etc.
Bardock has been made canon, the only question to ask is: does he become ssj2 IN THIS EPISODE? No? Then his ssj2 is NOT canon.

was not a what if its from the barsock special the ydid while back were bardock was sent back in time and killed freiza ancestor lord chilled he turned super saiyan during that fight some think its how friza got the hint about the legendary super saiyan cause at the end chilled dieing breath he said warning his family beware thee legendary super saiyan but this isnt cannon and also was reconned in super were i think beerus or someone else told friza about legendary super saiyan but yea ssj bardock isnt a heros or xenoverse what if it started as a simple speical movie for dbz

Jabenba and movie Broly are in the game. Cooler is in the game. Movie Gogeta is in the game. Lord Slug is in the game. Hirudegarn is in the game. Cowboy ass Android 13 and Bojack are in the game. Tapion is in the game. DBGT characters are in the game, and as a minor series, it's not considered to be part of the main DB continuum.

The argument about non-canon characters not belonging in the game doesn't really work.
