It's quick and snappy, i'm all okay with it. Not playing it for some deep story.
To me it's more of an idea or ember to light a fuse to watch re-watch the anime or get new people interested. I just like the gameplay and chill vibes. It's just... fun!
It becomes boring because DBZ is a billion dollar franchise and Bandai has milked it with so many games and little innovation between them.
There may never come a day where we actually get something new and different. Goku is face of the Dragonball and so his Z story will keep being told 1000 ways until there's nothing left.
Daima seems like a passion project of the late Toriyama, so perhaps in the far flung future we might finally get a game telling that story.
there is a training mode where they will teach you every single concept you need
The First Person camera moments are hit or miss. Random talks seem static but moments like goku teleporting cell to kai's were top notch.
Don't get me wrong it's not perfect by all means but I've found the spark I had when playing BT3 back on the PS2 and that's all I wanted from the game
Give it some time maybe it'll grow on you too
What I still very much dislike is the fact that they don't have a narrator inbetween the missions.
It's hard to really make the story good after us seeing it a thousand times. In the series and previous games.
I do love how you can see different character perspectives
