16 at the moment, staggering numbers, I've seen furnerals livelier than that. Almost got enough for a lobby and a half, but god forbid they add an offline or co op mode that isn't dependent on another 11 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like me that still sometimes play this godforsaken game

I liked the game. I liked the looter-shooter aspect with a ship to build towards and use in game. I think more games in this genre should implement this idea. If Tarkov had an option to build a vehicle to use and load into game with after building it, that'd be sick. At least Until someone kills you and loots it.

i mean i used to play this all the time, but it started to get less fun when they removed ship modding, and ship modding was one of the big selling points and now.. nothing, and we all know the devs won't even re add something like it in.

i do miss playing this game but for an aussie it's dead in the water unless you're in the US or EU, And even then player base is too low to even get in games

For the record, Marauders is currently being beat by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Awesomenauts, a game from 2012 whose studio literally went bankrupt, got bought out, the game was then fully offline for 2 years or so, and then the new owner ( Atari) rolled the game back 9 years of development time to get it back online, and it's got about three times the players this crap does and that game is super dead, basically the same couple dozen players playing and anyone that's new is scared away.

Some however will insist that Marauders is not at all dead. Frankly, if I were the devs I'd just completely drop the development on this and go do something else, stop the sales if they won't release a way to play offline and call it quits, they're beating a dead horse.

Literally dropped down to 7 players at its lowest the other day. SEVEN.
If there's anyone who thinks this game isn't dead, they belong in a mental hospital.

Hilariously, there is a higher average of people playing TANKI ONLINE (a flash-browser tank game from 2009, re-released on steam), than there are average players in Marauders.

It's real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead.

indeed, at this point i wonder what will happen, the devs will have to do something huge before this game gets pulled off steam by steam, as with no updates, also i remember that game, man that was sometime ago.

meany things they can do to fix the mess they made but going to far into pvp, and forgetting about pve, reminds me of dark and darker and most of the players in that,, that just do pvp.

and the player base get's smaller every year, and the devs even tho they seem to pick pvp more then care about what the players base has to say, heck that update that made it a pvp fest of 1 hit 2 hit you dead,, was removed mostly as, as it ruined what was getting out with loot type of game just like this one.

this game could take point on that and lower headshot dmg to 2x over over 3x, that's a weee idea at lest i have meany more but, like you my hope for this game died when the devs keep saying the game is finnnnnnnnne, we have players it's not dead yet, then go to push for discord hard that i disagree with, steam is open info discord is not.....

even if they had a lawsuit, with next to no info on anything, well it's a wait and see, steam will remove this is they don't do something.

That is crazy! The one dude keeping this game alive in the forums made it sound like there were plenty of players left.

Elite Dangerous has 6,851 players currently, and it came out in 2014.

Wild to see where this game is at.

Macdallan? Yeah, pretty sure he is being paid by sig at this point, It's either that or he is somehow dense enough to think that the game is going to magically fix itself and become extremely popular again. Been watching the forums without saying anything for a long while and whenever anyone has the audacity to say anything bad about the game or say that it is dying, which is pretty much and undeniable fact, he will swoop in like a vulture and start giving the same argument that "Players are just waiting for the next update" and "They are still working on the game they just don't say anything on steam" or whatever the ♥♥♥♥.
