SCP: Containment Breach Multiplayer had the potential to be something really unique and fun, especially for fans of the SCP universe. Playing with friends in such a tense and creepy environment should have been a blast. Unfortunately, the current state of the game is TRASH and NOT playable — and that’s being generous.

The optimization is absolutely terrible. Even on decent systems, the game runs like it’s being held together with duct tape. Crashes, freezes, weird graphical glitches, and constant bugs are just part of the experience now. And it's not just minor issues — the game is so broken that getting it to even launch properly feels like an achievement.

It's sad to see how far the game has fallen. At this point, it’s been completely wrecked, and trying to play it today is more frustrating than scary. It’s clear that support has dropped off, and instead of fixes or improvements, it’s just... silence.

What’s worse is that the idea was solid. A cooperative survival horror SCP game? That writes itself. But in its current state, it’s nothing more than a bug-riddled shell of what it could have been.

could be really fun but theres horrible map desync issues when playing with friends, they will phase through walls and access rooms that i dont have on my map. theres lots of issues with crashing, not being able to ALT + TAB or SHIFT + TAB on some occasions and also you cannot change your microphone input. its an unfinished multiplayer port of a great game that the devs have basically abandoned, wish it was better but its not
