Not sure if things changed in the update at the end of May, but now this isn't completely right
If you're playing on easy mode, you can save with F5.
Now, it could be because I (the one hosting the server) was the one to leave the server first, but my friend's inventory wasn't erased.
I saved and left. When we played again he was back at spawn, but his items were dropped on the spot he was standing when I left the game.
Luckily we were close by, but if you're far there's supposedly a console command to teleport to a specific room, so you could use that.
ps. im looking through the safe file code right now but it doesn't say anything about a difficulty meter
how to activate the save in multiplayer because when I want to load it with my friend the game says i can't load game because i don't have abled
You can invite anybody mid game, but make sure you go through multiplayer then load the game and invite after you are in game inside the level.
