This way, you can avoid 049 all together in a full playthrough. That's exactly what I did on my Keter playthrough here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkFW7un0jmo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLikP6BDH5w
You just need these items:
- A Level 2 keycard
- Some Medkits (2 or 3. Usually you get 2 in LCZ)
- The Black Severed Hand (found in Dog area)
- Achievements. As many as you can, without triggering SCP-049
Optional Items:
- Gas Mask (Found in the Skull room and event room where Peanut snaps Scientists)
- Night Vision Goggles (Dog Area)
- S-Nav (Found in Peanut lvl 2 card room, or in storage rooms)
- SCP-1499 (Behind a Level 3 Door, Recommended, not needed)
- SCP-714 (In room opposite SCP-1499)
You don't need the Optional Items, but they are nice to have, especially if the Gas Mask and Goggles are upgraded with Very Fine (Blue Goggles have infinite battery). S-Nav upgrades on Very Fine to S-Nav Ultimate. It has infinite battery, SCP Radar and complete map.
Steps:
Part A.
1. Find and Open the SCP-914 room.
2. Upgrade level 2 card on Very Fine
3. Downgrade Mastercard with Course
4. Upgrade 4 Quarters on Fine
5. Repeat steps 2-4 as much as you want. This is infinite keycards.
6. Put all cards in on Very Fine. Keep repeating until you get an Omnicard. More achievements increases the chance of getting one. Exact chances are unknown.
7. Upgrade Medkits on Fine. They heal more and faster.
(If you have SCP-1499, dodge Old Man by putting it on. Otherwise bait him into a Tesla Gate or just run away until he gets bored)
Part B.
1. Wait until Old Man starts chasing you.
2. Let him catch you (playing on Safe, Euclid or Custom - no Permadeath Recommended)
3. Escape Shadow Realm. Use Medkits Immediately after escaping and hope it's enough.
4. You are now in Heavy Containment without disabling the lockdown or triggering 049
5. Find SCP-008, equip SCP-714 (if you have it), otherwise, use Hazmat Suit to recontain it
6. Now all checkpoints are unlocked and you can complete the game.
Note - If you encountered SCP-049's elevator, make sure you have the Black Hand.
And that's it. That's how you completely neglect seeing your local SCP Foundation Doctor.
If you somehow let the Doctor out while following this guide to do exactly NOT that, equip the ring and use SCP-1499 to run away from him, or just run using the Super Gas Mask
