Very Rough Demo
I am a huge fan of the 1st game, but this demo does not come even close to it.

I don't think it was a good idea to release a demo in such a rough state. I couldn't even bring myself to finish the demo, played for a couple of minutes and dropped it.

I can run the 1st game with max settings and 4K very smoothly, and the game looks beautiful.

This one looks bad, I am sorry. I Don't know how you guys managed to do that. Games runs choppy and graphics are step down from previous game.

Lots of optimization needed and please, make it look at least as good as the 1st one.

Well... I don't have any good words for this demo... the performance even in the menus is a desaster (mouse/keyboard), the performance ingame is even worse. The game looks really bad and unfinished.. textures have to load forever... you start the game hanging somewhere up in the air.. i quit the game 5 seconds after the start.
This is not even close to an alpha.

Unfortunately I can only second the opinions and experiences above.

I really enjoyed the first game and was looking forward to its predecessor.

I have a gaming notebook with an RTX 3070 (mobile) which I consider still a quite capable machine those days. However I could only play somewhat well with a resolution reduced to 1440x900 (16:10 external display) and even then I got some irritating blinking/grain effect on the ground near the circle where the crouching is explained.

Unless you want your game only to work with the top 1% of all gaming computers you will need to change something. I mean, as far as I could see the game doesn't even look significantly better, so what is this GPU time spent for?

Another fauxpas is that when the game starts, the fox sits in the air, the ground is missing for like a minute or two. Not a good first impression.

Just backport the second story to the graphics engine of the first game an I will buy it. Or optimize it significantly. Otherwise I simply will not buy it because I cannot play it.

Yeah I don't understand why didn't they just use the previous game project to create the sequel, they already had an optimized working formula.

Yeah, if this was my first impression of the games I would not give them another look. But because of the first game, I will wait and see.
