My FPS drops to 38 for a second during rage art even though I have 20 gb vram with 7800x3d and 64 gb ram. It is definitely optimization issue. Also, the biggest fps drops are during these cut scenes, especially when you have white flash on the screen...
Cut scenes aren't gameplay

Best bet is kill AA and use DLSS

The developer to Harada: There are too many sparks on screen.
Harada: Yes.

A lot of PC ports do need proper optimization and extra coding to utilize modern and past CPUs and GFXs. You can't just slap FSR and DLSS and say "that's it". There are a handful of BAD pc ports because almost all games are made for console specs FIRST.

I play a ton of triple A games on PC and I see tons of people with their expensive GTX 4090s who complain on forums: "It still lags, frame drops, stuttering etc".

In terms of the PC version of Tekken 8, it still has a lot of room for improvement and needed optimizations. I hope we see them in Season 2 (-__-).

Only thing the game needs is precompiled shaders. Tekken 8 is very well optimized.

"very well optimized" - the computer dev has spoken. May I ask for your background?

I'm involved in app development and design, primarily mobile. I rub shoulders with programmers almost everyday..

There's literally someone posting with a high end card and talks about slow downs. Then we have tons of people, especially noting performance drops regarding the lava planet stage etc. Now we have people noting frame drops due to Clive's special FX show. You're only take is "Tekken 8 is very well optimized".

Signing off...

Badly optimized hardware specs are also a thing MOBOS that can run quad channel better than others people doing mystery configs with ram in 3 slot .. some people are clueless and some are the ones who have to remind themselves to plug the machine in first..

Not all Powerful PC's are owned by the correct builders.. And some get snookered into buying bad Intel chips because "It was cheap".

Mine was slow until shader recompile. Vulkan can do this at game start I think.

Quad channel motherboards have always been pretty rare and are even rarer these days; virtually everything is dual channel. I think you are confusing DIMMs for channels.
