TEKKEN 8

TEKKEN 8

I haven't been able to play Tekken 8 online for a few months.
It keeps giving me error codes like:

A-00100-00898-1

A-00301-00877-1
A-00105-00877-1

And so on, it gives me really many different ones. Sometimes I manage to play and connect, but after one game, it gives me an error and disconnects me. It’s been like this for months, and I don’t know what else to do. Is anyone else having a problem like mine?

I use Windows 10 Pro. The specs of my PC allow me to play high-performance games, not only Tekken but also other games like Armored Core, etc. The problem arises every time I try to play online, and I only encounter this issue with this game. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but nothing changed. I’ve tried both Ethernet and Wi-Fi, but the situation remains the same. I also tried using another Steam account, but that didn’t solve the problem either. There's nothing worth mentioning on my PC, as I only have common utility programs like Chrome, etc.

might be the windows 10.

for a game as this i whould recommend
-windows 11 latest version.
-recommended system recruirement ( minimal specs just rn't good enough for a heavy game like this, if its a laptop i'd say u even need more )
-open all firewalls.
-uninstall each and any kind of antivirus programs.

The problem seems to be my connection. I tried using my phone's connection, and with that, I can access the servers, but the issue is that it's not stable enough to play decently. I have no idea how to fix this because up until a few months ago, everything worked fine with my connection. Could it be an IP ban or something like that? If I open the firewalls, could this fix the issue? (Sorry if it's a stupid question, I'm not an expert in these things.)

Edit: I opened the firewalls, but the problem persists.

My advice:

1. Upgrade to Windows 11. Windows 10 is outdated and unsupported.

2. Use Google DNS

3. Flush your dns cache

You might also consider opening the ports needed for steam (better using DMZ, for sometimes opening single ports won't give them full open status, depending on the router), for I think the problem is the firewall in your router, not the windows one (turn off too, and antivirus if possible as well), which are always very very restrictive, regardless you can play other games.

Don't upgrade to windows 11 lol as it still performs worse for gaming. That guy above Jesus Christ..

As for the DMZ issue, I have never tried to do it, so I wouldn’t know how, but I can look into it. I had tried to do port forwarding using the addresses I found online that are specific for Tekken, but maybe the ones for Steam are different (?). So, should I try disabling the firewall on my router?

For gods sake, if you don't have critical info in your PC and use it for home purposes only (gaming etc), please disable that thing, both in your PC and specially the one your router features, which is the hard one. DISABLE YOUR ANTIVIRUS TOO for gaming, as it might also have another firewall and restrictions per program. After this it should work already.

After that introduce your IP adress in the DMZ section (watch it every day for changes, then reintroduce it when it does change) for avoiding matchmaking issues.

I'm trying to figure out how to do it, but I don't think I can do it on my router... I've tried every setting and looked in the manual, but I can't find anything about disabling the firewalls or the DNS... However, honestly, this seems strange to me; it has always worked, and then suddenly it started giving me these problems. I wouldn't want it to be some sort of ban, although I don't think so because I've never received any ban warning in the game.
