So no more "disk write error"
But now when launching the game, I see the "8" logo at the bottom right corner.
Then after a few minutes, the game just closes out.
Running the game on Windows 10 (64-bit)
CPU Brand: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor
Driver: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
RAM: 16293 Mb
I used to have a R9 290x when I played the beta and got the DX12 warning but was able to play anyway.
I had also tried installing an unofficial updated version of the drivers but with that one the game would not start at all.
Thanks for replying, just updated the drivers and now on "Radeon Software Version 22.6.1"
Looks like there is no newer supported update beyond that for AMD Radeon R9 200 Series GPU.
Tried running the game again, and unable to get past the "8" logo game launch screen.
Checked my virus/malware defense software.
Looks like it was quarantining the TEKKEN 8 game files :
Steam\SteamApps\common\TEKKEN8\Polaris\Binaries\Win64\Polaris-Win64-Shipping.exe
Had to restore the files and mark them as an exception.
I think this was causing the "disk write error"
With that said, still can not progress past the "8" logo on the launch screen.
Now able to get to the game intro movie, setup playing name, customize character, and do practice mode.
When I go to the avatar arcade story mode, the game just closes out.
Progress so far, but may have to wait for the next patch to access more of the game with out it crashing.
**EDIT**
The UE-Polaris Game has crashed and will close
Low Level Fatal Error
[Line: 1168]
Failed with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
what settings did you try? (start with everything at low with TAAU scaler)
how did u get to this update tell me cause i have a similar problem like you my graphics card is low
Ah, my virus software quarantined the game files.
So when the update file was trying to download
They kept getting flagged for quarantine making the update not complete.
You have to restore the files and mark them as an exception for it to work.
