Please, please, please, we really need an Eternal Sonata HD/4K PC port with all extras and why not, something new, It's one of the best rpgs I've ever played (and I played a lot), truly loved It.

This new entry of Star Ocean seems awesome and I can't wait to play it! But Tri-Ace should get in touch with Tri-Crescendo again to port Eternal Sonata, please!

Fourth! eternal sonata what a amazing rpg.. played the game all the way through secret dungeon on 360 an got to the second to final boss on ps3.. kept getting my ass whooped by you know who so i called it quits

I loved that game too, and I need it back in my collection. Unfortunately I have never got it back as a friend I let borrow it decided to cut me out of their life one day and they still have the game!!! tut lol.

I would imagine Namco has that IP and since they did not go for rerelease of Xenosaga despite there being talks with Monolith Soft I do not think they value their older IP that much.

Seventhed (I guess)??? Anyway, heck yes, bring Eternal Sonata back with a remaster! I love that game and played it for many hours back in the day on PS3. Fantastic story, interesting mechanics, just a really good game overall.

what emulator did you use? i have tried xenia on my computer.. (willing to go to deck if i can fix) but im wondering if there is a better emulator

Is this for real? I've been trying to get it stabilised in Emudeck running the PS3 veesion. It crashes in the mirror forest! Please spill your secrets!

This is most probably a lie considering there's NO actual emulator which can make Eternal Sonata playable nowdays, possibly the weaker version, the Xbox360, not the PS3 one, but still, the Xbox version should still be broken too. Please let's not spread lies.

I don't why it was popular, but guessing a loud minority. It's 6/10 for me and is Legend of Dragoon tier - another average JRPG that did its best, but couldn't really make it well enough.

I wouldn't call it popular since its one of those games that's not instantly on everyone's radar but i did enjoy playing through it even though the 360 did leave out a few things.

One of the first PS3 RPGs I bought back then. Trying to play it via emulator on Steam Deck, but it has random crashes issue.

i tried on the emulator but the constant graphics tearing made it a no go. I now have my xbox 360 an ps3 hooked up if i feel the urge to play :)
