Square Enix got back to me and i was told to unplug any unnecessary devices from my pc (speakers, headsets, mics etc) and to disable or remove overwolf (which doesnt come on during boot up). I have done some experiments regarding the whole camera rotating and it seems to be related to me using a secondary screen with my laptop. As if i use extended screen or have it only display via my second screen the issues come back, if i use my laptop screen or duplicate the laptop screen onto my secondary screen the issue goes away.
I'll keep you updated on any information i get from Square Enix regarding this latest information i have sent to them.
Lucky after the recompile shaders took ten minutes it works right now...
Yeah mine was second screen related. I was playing on a dual screen set up (on my laptop) so star ocean on one screen and my usual desktop on the other and the game did not like that so it was either play play solely on my laptop or mirror the screen to be able to play without any camera issues
And sorry for the delay in replying I didn't get any form of notification (or I didn't notice) about a reply and only just seen it on the mobile app when I was looking at the notification about deals on my wishlist 😂
