About creating items and Elena's weapons
So, I just beat the blue bird boss and I still can't find any new weapons for Elena anywhere. Any tips on that? Also, how can I create new items? Thanks in advance.

Her weapons are made through engineering crafting, and don't come in shops until much later in the game. This makes her hard to use consistently in the first third of the game, sadly, until you unlock engineering with welsh. Even then, it's a bit of a dice roll if you get a better weapon for her or not.

Damn, it's a shame since she became my favorite character. Thanks for the info, I'll see if I'll manage to keep playing as her even so.

Elena wants Integration Unit + Integration Unit which, sadly, cannot be acquired until post game... and iirc not even until the second post game dungeon has been mostly completed. Yup, its extremely stupid and pointless by that point. That said, Elena is still a great character who can be built tanky and DPS. She is rather flexible. Imo, her survivability is particularly good in the right side with those elemental buffs being very powerful if you want to do something specific or use her for post game bosses who are doing elemental dmg. As for her left side she has an assassin skill that is really good, too. If you aren't trying to intentionally craft to break the game as hard as possible then I would consider her a very good character that keeps up with the rest. Its only when you start crafting the insane stuff before post game she falls noticeably behind.

Thank you for the info, so I'll try the elemental buffs and I'm currently trying to build the Assassin skill up, it's really good indeed

Bit of a correction here. While it is true that integration units come late in the game, they don't come as late as you remember. 3 of the bosses drop one if you break their weak point/part. Also the green unmanned helicopters (eliminators) in Scorpium Spire can drop them, although those fights aren't repeatable to some save scumming may be required. The supply is definitely limited but it is there.

Ah thanks for the info. Sadly, due to these factors it means most will have only the sure 1 unit before post game as they wont even realize others exist and those that do are in for a grind. :( Sucks that no matter what its basically the very end of the game unlike everyone else's but Marrielle's (also screwed) which can be done as soon as Aucerius Castle first visit pretty easily.

Fortunately, she still pretty good regardless. A shame though since its a really good easy source of the +40% close dmg bonus factor, too. >.<

Btw, when specifically the game will let me create weapons for Marielle and Elena? (Marielle just joined the party for me rn)

It is the Engineering crafting option. Marrielle and Elena are the ones who should level Engineering to 10 and be crafting those, themselves.

You should have it iirc as it is before you get Alchemy and Alchemy comes before Marielle. Did you check the top right crafting option in IC menu? Also do you have alchemy already unlocked? If not and you got Marielle go talk to Welsch as you might be behind on some IC quests.

Actually I still need to find two "claidheamh soluis". I only unlocked compouding, crafting and smithery until now

edit: just found out it was a weapon that I could buy, duh

So I finally unlocked engineering, what IC skill should I level up for better chances to get weapons for Elena?

You just need to max Elena's and Marielle's Engineering to rank 10 for their weapons (eventually you have to do synthesis for them, too, as you can only synthesize stuff you can use aka guns). Then use the highest tier engineering materials (most of the time, not always) to craft their weapons in engineering. Tier is the *3, *4, *5, etc. under the material name on right side. If you have a very limited quantity of the best one and don't know where to farm more you might just need to save your game. Engineering stuff, unlike ores which can be crafted to the highest tier via alchemy, are by purchase/drop only.

Thank you so much for the info! It's really helpful and useful :)
