Hope this game has secret characters.
They seem to be going in the SO2 route with the whole picking either the guy or girl at the start.
So maybe they'll have specific characters to join like either Leon or Dias and hopefully some secret ones.
I didn't play the PS4 Star ocean so I dunno if it had any, but SO4 only had one "secret" character and it wasn't really a new one.

If you play Raymond story, you will get JJ, the samurai robot.
If you play Laeticia story, you will get Theo, the red hair guy.
All the other characters are in both stories.
This is so far everything I know.

Well, it's something.
If there's at least one secret character and an expansive post game I'll be happy.

I personally hoped the one horned girl would be a secret character, but I am doubtful she will be playable. Shame since I like her design.
