Item drop rate

Is it me or is drop rate from enemies extremely low. Got that quest to get things off the axe beaks. Killed tons of them, haven't seen a single drop

Its atrocious. I've killed 120 corpses and I STILL don't know what its 2nd item drop is. Game is too new to really know how to fix that though, may be just because I'm playing on Universe.

Once you get crafting, you make items that boost drop rate. I have armor that gives 120% item drop

Sick. I guess I should progress the game a bit. I was trying to 100% the monster information like in Star Ocean 4 before hand. Thanks!

200 Corpse kills, still have no idea what the other item is besides a Scruffy Rag. I shall finally continue on.

No joke the game only took me 22.5hr to finish with only 3 of the crafting options open. all items you need are sold in shops.

There is an accessory you can buy at a shop that gives +140% drop rate. Wear 8 them them, or use crafting to take it even further.

Where is that? I have crafted a few items with that factor (with a hit counter requirement) , but haven't seen any sold in shops
