Also, PC version looks a lot better. PS5 is not using native 4k or is heavily checkerbording on the Prioritize Image mode. Also, 60 FPS on 4K on PC instead of 60 fps on 1440p-ish in their Priority Framerate Mode.
There is nothing that the PS5 version does better than the PC, as per usual.
I did have to laugh at the Priortize Framerate or Prioritize Image Quality prompt on loading the game though. For a second, I thought I was playing the console build. Very bizarre to see in a PC game, I have to say.
The need to compile shaders for a DirectX 11 game, no less, is truly baffling. Why is this even required? As PC gamers, we are now used to either shader compilation stutters or long waits to pre-compile shaders (and after every graphics driver update too) but that is usually for DirectX 12 games that look a hell of a lot better graphically than this game. Shader compilation is truly a curse on PC gaming at the moment in my experience; I do not have to put up with prolonged waits to play a game on my PS5 or Xbox Series X.
On my PC: 4K@60FPS@MAX, zero stuttering, 20% CPU, 50-60% GPU usage
Gonna thinker a little bit with it later to reduce the stutter. But people saying its a fine port no it clearly isn't.
