Like not even talking quality. I'm just in the settings and I'm losing my brain cells over how bad these are.

FULL SCREEN gets removed the moment you alt tab
BORDERLESS is fake borderless that japanese games used to do because for some reason they cannot do borderless or the technology is lost on them. And fake borderless is basically just window mode but forced to fit your screen like wallpaper, but unlike a wallpaper you cannot have any window on it or you just lose that window until you get out of borderless. (literally goes on background)

No way to remove motion blur? BIG RED FLAG

CANNOT REMAP CONTROLS ON KEYBOARD. In 2022, what devs make their buttons unremappable? Terrible devs that's who.

You know, whenever I read any of these comments about "why don't you fix it yourself" I always laugh, because there is NO OTHER industry where that would be acceptable, imagine buying a car, and the doors don't shut correctly, the car doesn't go past 30 kph and whenever you try to turn to the right it simply doesn't work and you crash.

Not only that, but we as customers/end users can't "get in the code". We do not have access to it. Many of us do end up doing that if the company allows it through mods, but I highly doubt a game like this will ever be able to be modded. Just reinforces that it was a very silly thing for that particular individual to say.

He is not a paid professional, doesn't have access to a dev build or developer tools and even if he did have the know how lots of games have theirs files packed away that makes it that much harder to actually modify anything....

Well one thing is for sure the OP lost way to much brain cells even before going into the options as there is a lot of misinformation in his post. Yes the port isn't amazing but you can remap keyboard and even mouse.

But even when you can remap those keys mouse support is still really bad with no mouse pointer to be spotted, which make navigating with the mouse insanely annoying. As well as camera doesn't feel like it is direct input from the mouse either.

Fortunately I'm couch gaming this title with an xbox controller and having a flawless experience so far.

Proper keyboard remapping really should be included with a PC release though, I could have sworn that there were options for it?

I'm having trouble installing, and I'm just looking around for the short answer, but I already know my issue, and not once did I post some ♥♥♥♥♥-up about the company NOT fixing my issue for me.

This entire post is meaningless, because you know someone will jump on this and fix these issues eventually, it's just the blatant right, and stupid demeaner of this "customer is always right!" attitude that needs to stop. You're a customer, you're not the president of the united states. Shut the hell up and wait for people and the this company to solve your issues, cause apparently, you're too ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy to learn anything that MIGHT help you.

It honestly baffles me too, how game devs really have so much issues providing a proper borderless window setting as the default.

Even with just one screen, borderless is the way to go, as you can actually use your system then still.
Fullscreen is a format that should honestly be dead and forgotten, as the amount to handle especially to get that working consistently and perfectly with multi-tasking in mind is also .. apparently not possible for most games.

The caomplains here are valid .. and honestly japanese developers especially need to simply get better with developing games in general. (Even if these run good on console, their actual code is horrible and how they are made to work is usually abysmal as well).

funnily enough I fixed almost all my gripes with the game in about 10 minutes. I connected a controller, because these games on KB+M are always trash and I set up a basic re-shade to reduce blur, sharpen everything and properly contrast the image. Now the game plays great and looks great. You're on PC, just make it how you want it.

Seen way worst, and you are exaggerating but yeah, it's a low effort port. The fact that the console graphics modes are still there is a testament of it.
