Romania (0 vehicle production)
0 vehicle factories in the entire country of Romania?

For a country that was the major oil producer of the Axis to not have one vehicle factory in WiTE2 sounds fishy.

Until World War II, Romania was Europe's second-largest oil and food producer.

After poking around a bit, I found information on the Ford Plant in Bucharest ...

The plant continued production until World War II when the factory was placed under the control of the Romanian Army and continued mainly repair activities for the army vehicle fleet. Production of military trucks also continued with 2,320 3-ton trucks, 200 fuel trucks and 488 Marmon-Herringtons delivered between 1939 and 1942.

(see - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Romania )

While not on the same scale as Germany or even Italy, it is notably greater than '0' vehicle production.

Data is very thin on Romania. Its possible they just assembled kits delivered from other european manufacturers. I would actually like to have them at least one point of vehicle manufacturing but this must be deserved/backed by facts.

Rather they assembled kits or not, it resulted in the output of manufactured military vehicles.

The link contains supporting references to include the book - "Third Axis Fourth Ally", which I own.

In total, at the end of the 1930s, Ford had 16 factories in the world, but only six had an assembly line, and one production line. The one in Bucharest was among them six and also produced truck chassis and other Ford utility vehicles, not just Ford small cars.

By 1941, Capotescu estimates that there were about 3,000 Ford V8 cars with us. Some copies, however, have taken the export route and reached countries such as Bulgaria or Yugoslavia. The models produced in us were the following: Ford model 1936 (V8-48 and V8-68), Ford model 1937 (V8-74/78, V8-81A/82A, V8-91A/92A and V8-01A/02A), in Standard and Luxe equipment levels. We are talking especially about four-door berthines equipped with the 3.6-liter V8 powertrain that develops 85 horsepower.

After the summer of 1940, when the decision was made to Romania’s Second World War, the Ford factory came under the administration of the Army and stopped the production of civilian cars. Also, most of the cars and all the trucks owned by individuals and legal entities were the subject of law 139 of 1940 on the requisitions, therefore they were requisied by the Romanian Army.

Matrix had all the info they needed provided for them pre release, they ( Red lancer) chose to ignore it, ban me from posting as they thought it would harm sales to read how badly they had made the game. Listing the 3300 trucks types ( equivalent to 8750 t lift )and units with them, converting the tonnage of each into a total tonn age to be used by how the game allows a trucks tonnage to be, the monthly number type of imports of trucks from slovakian production runs in an economic exchange between Romania and Germany to motorise the Romanian forces was all given and ignored.

Starting in February 1940, Ford-Dagenham delivered assembly kits to Romania for assembling 700 trucks, 4 fuel tanks, 27 ambulances, 90 vehicles for troop's transportation and 50 cars.

Ford Motor Company started a new era by supplying the Romanian Army, as they needed a significant number of Ford trucks. Between 1939 and 1942, the Company delivered 2,320 wagon trucks, 200 tanks and 488 tractors to the Army.

While not going into the details, I have observed similar instances where historical data (or individuals) are selectively ignored or dismissed.

Even worse is when a dev defends the game by use of an authors work, and that author work, does no support, but contradict the devs claims.

This took a little more persistence to find...

The first tire factory in South-East Europe

For the automotive industry (and not only), the interwar period was a major development opportunity. Especially in the United States, but also in Europe. The UK and France have authoritatively dominated the European automotive industry of the weather and owned the most popular car brands.

Even though the auto industry was growing at a fast pace in the western part of Europe, things were completely different in the rest of the continent. For example, at the time, in the south-east of the continent there was not even a tire plant. However, this changed in 1938, when Princess Elizabeth signed a royal decree for the construction of such a production unit in the Prahova commune of Floresti. This would thus become the first tire plant in Romania and in this region of Europe.

In the construction process, raw materials and finished products imported from the United States were used, and the plant was officially inaugurated in July 1939 with the name Banloc Goodrich, later to change its name to Victoria.

There were also advertising for Banloc-BFGoodrich tires.

Banloc society took the initiative to establish such a factory by co-opting a circle of Romanian underwriters who created a new industry. For the technical part: calling the factories Goodrich of Ohio who provided the technical and manufacturing organization along with support granted by the Romanian Government, [and thus] appeared in Băicoi, on an area of 7000 sq m, the first factory of rubber from Romania. Machines weighing almost 750 t, pipe installations were installed of water, steam, electrical cables, etc. The plant is to produce at least 200 tires, which is close 50,000 tires/year to be sold on the Romanian market and to cover 70-75% of consumption. They will be new types of tires manufactured in Romania, including mainly the "non-skid" type, anti-skid, which was introduced by the Goodrich factories at the New York Exposition. In 1939 they were circulating in Romania almost 30000 vehicles, which shows that 100000 tires are needed annually, almost 1.5 mil. kg of imported rubber. The Banloc company is going to satisfy all requests for tires, reducing importation only of exceptional types and sizes.

Goodrich Rubber Company took a step further and opened a local branch, which was advertised in 1931. In 1938, Romanian company Banloc Goodrich obtained the licence from Goodrich, Rubber Company and the ads recorded the change advertising now the Romanian tire, under Goodrich licence.

The contract between Banloc and Goodrich stipulated that Goodrich will supply competent personal, information and supervising for producing the products, while Banloc obliged to pay 5% licence from sales, 50 cents for each car or motorcycle envelope sold, 5 cents for each inner tube, one dollar for each auto bus, tractor or plane tire, 10 cents for each inner tube. The pro rata temporis was $15,000 in the first incomplete year and $20,000 in the following years. They started the production in May 1938.

Unfortunately, in 1940/1941, because of the war, American staff was repatriated, but the production continued using the American methods of production. Between 1940 and 1944, Banloc credited Goodrich with $160,110.50.
