Spamel in Jedha, bug! (spoilers alert)

When I arrived to planet Jedha for the first time I went to the area where you first fight the ordinary sutaban. After the fight I pressed rb button in that area and suddenly spamel appeared. The spamel helped me to cross obstacle in that particular area.

I saw on youtube that I was supposed to go back to another area to progress but I progressed from that particular area that it was not intended to, but was possible with the spamel bug. Strange bug, any one else?
