There has been one more patch that released 2 months ago since that video. I haven't bothered to re install to see if made any meaningful difference. I strongly doubt it.

It seems that Epic is blaming Intel for their problems.

I hope they fix this eventually. why does it run so bad, did fallen order run badly when it first launched? Is there hope they will ever fix this?
It was just a case of "Well, it's broken but we have to release it anyway"
The engine may not support their vision, but the "open world-ish" portions of the game do seem to be within the limitations of the engine.
I have more difficulty with the population of an area (CPU), than the geographic area (GPU). That said, for some reason looking out upon empty space at an observation point on the Shattered Moon does tank my frame rate. I'm thinking it was some lingering FPS cap from a cutscene.
