Is it worth buying now?
Game's on sale for 30 bucks now. But is it worth 30 bucks in its current state?

I think so assuming you can run the game well enough. It’s truly a great game that just is a crappy port. But still a truly great game.

Don‘t buy this game because it keeps crashing and won't work properly!
my computer:intel i7 13700KF+Geforce RTX 4070ti+32GB DDR5

Yeah in all fairness I have computers that can mask a lot of these performance issues with brute force so it's easier to enjoy the gaming experience. But I deinitely know my systems are not indicative of a normal consumer system. And it really is not excusable to need higher specs to account for poor PC optimization; or lack thereof.

The game is very fun and much longer than the first installment. Fights and storyline are very cinematic and fun, though the game is seriously difficult at higher difficulty settings.

All of that said, it's one of the worst PC ports I've ever played performance wise. Navigating the menu's alone is just disgustingly crappy.

I actually actively feel scorn from some developer toward me playing on PC just launching the game and sitting through the stuttering startup sequence. Or by doing something like changing my control settings (which isn't done under "controls" for M/KB and you barely can select each box).

Try to install some mods that help with stutter too, because it's just horrible. Shader compiling in the game is still off whack after all these patches.

No I had to refund for the first time on Steam because the game kept crashing before the first cut scene ended. Hard crash. Resolution going haywire black screen after. I had to force shutdown my pc twice. The first one was great though

If they hasn't fix it after a year then there is no way they're going to fix it. I'm taking this out of my wish list. Was hoping they would have fixed it by now.

Kind of my take as well. I've had it on my wishlist since pre-orders waiting for update news. At this point, I'll just wait for it to inevitably end up on Game Pass like Fallen Order did and play it there, so at least if performance still sucks, I didn't buy it.

It's honestly too bad that the game gets dragged down by those issues, because it's genuinely great otherwise.

Basically just fallen order with 2-3 times the content.

same I loved fallen order and I know id like this game too but everywhere I look it talks about the poor optimization on all platforms. I feel bad for respawn. EA ♥♥♥♥♥♥ them over.

I would say Respawn ♥♥♥♥♥♥ us... Jedi Survivor has the same optimisation issues as Fallen Order, they clearly know how to make good games but they suck at optimising their stuff.

i think they have entirely abandoned it.

as long as you have a decently high end computer, it can run fine enough with some settings tweaks
after you install and start up the game, go to settings>visuals> nvidia DLSS upscaler and set it to "performance"
also, if you plan on playing with a controller, the game cant normally detect controller inputs (for some reason) so what you want to do is launch the EA launcher through steam, and then launch the game through that. it should work
