This game need an online mode

Just a personal opinion but try to imagine it

This game will require you to be online to play it, as well as signing into your EA account every time.

Its going to be an online only game, just not an online multiplayer.

Also when less people play it years from now, they will shut down the servers and you will no longer be able to play it.

Ok i have understood your point. But when i said that this game needs an online mode, I meant a multiplayer online mode.
Anyway, It's just a personal opinion...

Not everything needs to be multiplayer. The combat is fine as it is in single player, they don't need to divert time making balance and stuff in here. Otherwise go for BF 2 or jedi academy's MP.

There should be a game for those that want good online lightsaber combat, and those of us that want a single player game. Also they really don't need to be the same game, as both would do better one their own vs. trying to have one game do both.

Just I can totally see a 3rd fighting game, a MOBA, or something else with lightsabers. This...its an adventure game that happens to have a lightsaber. Cal could also be beating people with a shovel for most of the game, and I would still buy it because I love single player adventure games.

What's with people demanding multiplayer in single player games, PvP in co-op games, or now PvP in single player games?

I've watched my son play enough multiplayer in Dark Souls to say that it would be HORRIBLE idea that only horrible people want.

Edit: A lightsaber dueling game designed for multiplayer sounds like good fun, but tacking multiplayer onto a single player game doesn't usually end well.
