The Fractured Malice Force Tear is utterly miserable...
Whoever designed this deserves to get whipped. This is not "challenge". This is artificially difficult to the most absurd degree for absolutely no reason.

There's no achievement for finishing the game on any particular difficulty, so you can lower the difficulty for any bs fight. That's what I did for the god-awful frog bosses. I know we shouldn't be forced to turn down the difficulty for poorly designed encounters, but we don't live in an ideal world, so we gotta make do with what we have.

The trick to beating Fractured Malice is to use Blaster Stance, with extra damage perks on charged blaster shots and saber strikes after blaster shots. Then keep one Rancor in between you and the other one to minimize being overwhelmed, get your saber strikes in to gain blaster ammo after a charged shot, and finish each Rancor with Slow when they're low on health. It also helps with any tough boss to take time collecting all the stims and force essences that boost force before you take them on.

This is on Jedi Knight, but I've seen them beaten this way on Grand Master. I even had a problem with my blaster not firing charged shots much of the time, but still beat them.

I had 10 stims, instead of whatever the max is, and as far as I'm aware, every health/force upgrade in the game. Unless there are more, in which case I'm wrong. We'll see.

Both help a ton, I always use a stim if a Rancor hits me, as they do a lot of damage. And having more Force makes your Slow last longer, which is why I was able to finish off the 2nd Rancor with so much of it's health left.

Blaster Stance with the perks I mentioned helps quite a bit too, if you can get charged blaster shots to work.

key with these tears fights is understanding how they attack.
The Rancors never attack at the same time, they always take turns.

- Lock on to the enemy that is currently active
- Get a Lightsaber Throw in
- Evade his attacks
- Get some Quick damage in
- Switch target
Repeat

Throwing Lightsabers at an enemy behind another one damages both.
Had no trouble doing this with dual wield, but blaster looks good, too.

I used Duel Wield on the one Rancor fight with lots of throws, but I missed with a throw or two being just a bit too far away.
