Has anyone else had this problem? Upgrades and stims reset but story progress remains.

TLDR: My game crashed. I lost the save and started over. I remade my progress only for that save to glitch and reset my stats/upgrades to 0 without losing my story progress.

I'll try to keep this short, but I am really mad about this. I was playing at a relaxing pace just doing whatever and enjoying the story over a period of about a week. I played for a total of 15 hours, but only made it about 5 hours into the story line. I hop back on to continue as usual and I get to this cut scene on Jedah and it's stuttery as all hell. I'm talking a singular frame every few minutes. My PC was having a stroke and I eventually just force shutdown the whole thing. I knew I would have to replay some of the game to get back to where I was but once I got everything back in working order, my save file was corrupted and "there was no backup detected." In a desperate attempt I try to find the save files but I couldn't and just assumed I was missing them or being dumb. I then decide to REPLAY FROM THE BEGINNING! I started completely over with a vengeance. I spent the next 5 hours speed running back to where I was when I lost the save. I made it there with all of the same upgrades and loot finds and even some extra stuff I had missed on the first run through. I went to bed, woke up, went to work, then I came home and sat down to play again. The game was taking a while to load and I noticed that I was getting every notification for every item, character, or piece of lore that I had found all at once. Finally the game loads and I am still on Jedah where I left off. All is not well however because when I step into this giant group of storm troopers and realize that I no longer have any of the force or lightsaber abilities that I had acquired. I also only had beginner level health and stims, and only the single blade stance. I shut it down and rebooted and got the single, dual wield, double blade, and crossguard stances back but the one with the gun was gone. I've only seen one other person have this same problem. I have 20hrs of play time with nothing to show for it. Are the cheat codes or something I can use to just get my upgrades back? WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!?

I've had the exact same issue, even tried loading up a backup file to find myself back at square 1, with 0 skill points, the same meditation tutorial and the same pop-ups for each new interactable/ enemy. I cant believe that this hasn't been sorted out yet. If anyone can come up with a fix please lmk!!

Had the game crash when i pressed the button to meditate and it corrupted my save of 30+ hours. When I started again I played through to Jedha and saved in the bar. When i loaded that save up again I had been reset to 0 skill point no stims or grapple, meaning the game is unplayable. THIS WAS 2 YEARS AGO!!!!. I HAVE COME BACK TO TRY AND FINALLY PLAY THIS 60 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ POUND GAME ONLY TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUE AGAIN!!! as soon as I got to jeda I meditated and saved only to load up the next day and everything is gone! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EMBARASSING FROM EA THAT THEY CAN'T MAKE THEIR AAA GAME WORK AFTER 2 YEARS!

This is honestly one of the only games i have in a substantial library of games that causes numerous different CTDs. If its not one crash, it's another or some UE engine fatal error. The game is good but what a truly awful amount of optimization over the years. Only this game and oddly enough, robocop rogue city has been corrupted to the point I just stop playing because I don't want to start over or continue to not get anywhere.
