Like you might get better performance or might not. 50/50 chance
That's amazing the game is so badly optimized it doesn't even run well on high-end next-gen GPUs
What is your CPU?
While it handled the game ok, it's performance greatly increased once ray tracing was disabled
Thought I'd try it on the off chance it works ok, and so far it does with raytracing off, DLSS on quality and everything else on epic. There are some visual hiccups here and there when going in and out of menu or cutscene but nothing game ruining thus far. No crashes in my first hour. Frame generation doesn't seem to improve anything so I have it off and the framerate is about my targetted 60fps max on an IPS monitor. Every now and then you'll get a frame that lasts an extra split second creating very minor brief fps hiccup, sorta like a frame getting an extra frame worth of time but then right back to smooth.
Game looks great even with RT off. With textures and AA on epic it almost looks raytraced but not quite.
Just throwing this out there for anyone who is on the fence but with similar or better specs.
Edit: There is what looks like an improperly rendered shadow detail or texture that doesn't display well during opening cutscene, the sunlight/shadow on the side of the characters head that happens so far only at that time.
I used to play it on Series X without issues.
