Jedi Survivor, doesn't even have a quarter of the combat moves and styles and abilities that "Force Unleashed" has, along with decapitations, and light sabre crystals, story line, ability to change characters and more.
Force unleashed is just a more modern (Baby version) of "Force Unleashed" with less ability, and other stuff, and slightly more open world.
When comes to action and customisation, force unleashed wins, when comes to open world, modern graphics "Jedi Survivor" wins.
Unleashed was ok. Cool character (if getting ridiculously, universe-breaking op by force-pulling a Star Destroyer out of orbit) and story was ok. Combat was fine if simple hack and slash kind of combat system.
But if anyone wants the definitive jedi experience, in both story and combat system check out Jedi Outcast/Academy. Not only nailing the best stories that most properly have Star Wars in the feel and dna but also the best combat by far. The combat systems are truly unique and invented completely for the games. And though old and dated in some aspects their systems truly feel the most like jedi lightsaber combat from the original three films (the *good* films).
I'm looking forward to Survivor. And seeing an Unleashed 3 would be fun. But the definitive jedi experience in gaming is Outcast/Academy, and they truly deserve a modern sequel.
They still haven't even fixed the garbage pc ports of Unleashed 1&2.
They obviously didn't make another Unleashed because nowadays, game developers hate making games with physics and destruction mechanics.
During PS3 and 360 era, games had much more destruction and "cool physics" compared to nowadays.
thing is if they didn't move onto this jedi crap (clearly a knock off) from the unleashed series, just more dumb and less abilities, not as good of a story line, then they'd make a ton of money... they should stuck with the unleashed series and just well yeah.. could easily carried on even using the "jedi engine", or the "original engine" for destruction and more, the decapitations and more
Was this a bad joke or..?
He also gave feedbacks for different "pitches and ideas" of the developers that helped them shape the game into what it became.

-He guided the team to portray Vader correctly. He also helped them in writing Vader's interactions with Starkiller.
-Originally, ghost of Qui Gon was supposed to lead Starkiller to Obi Wan on Tatooine and Obi Wan was supposed to become Starkiller's jedi master. George told them to not do that and they made the character of general Kota.
-Leia was supposed to have a much more important role in the story of TFU but George told the developers to replace her with Bail Organa.
-Vader was supposed to be the main villain and the game was supposed to end right before episode 4 with Vader killing Starkiller. George told them to make the Emperor the main villain and not make the game's story timeline close to episode 4.
-George also told the team to add a love interest(Juno) and a droid side kick(Proxy) for Starkiller. They weren't originally in the story.
-Vader was supposed to have another apprentice that was going to be Starkiller's rival. George told the TFU team that he is an underdeveloped villain and the team decided to remove him from the game.(He appeared in TFU 2 darkside ending though)
I don't think George Lucas had any involvement with the 2nd game but he was heavily involved in the story of the 1st game which makes it kinda canon.
George didn't have this much involvement with any of the expanded universe novels.
