Pre-order bonuses and 3rd party key sites?

Just wondering, if I get a code from somewhere other than Steam (or EA) direct and activate before the release date will i still get the pre-order bonuses?

Or do you have to buy direct to get them?

It could vary from store to store. Only way to know is to contact them before you purchase. In my (limited) experience, they have not. But I don't often pre-order off those sites.

Yeah i cant decide if I want to wait and save money when the price drops or pre-order for the useless but very cool looking bonuses

The only way to be completely sure is to choose to buy a key for a pre-order bonus "edition" in the section where you would usually choose from either from the deluxe/stardard (or whataver the publisher calls it) If the pre-order bonus option happens to be there that is. I have bought exactly two keys (one stadard edition of a game and another of a deluxe one) before the release previously, activated them before the release date and didn't get anything. Even though I cannot vouch for the pre-order bonus ones since I have never bought one, I still think it is the safest bet. It is usually supposed to add it like if it is a dlc so it should work just fine.
