Never had a connection issue. Never had a crash. I'd say it works for me so It might work for you.

Nope it took me nearly 2 hours of troubleshooting to get through the opening cut scene. I was able to finish the tutorial level and then it immediately began crashing on again on the next cut scene. It is quite literally unplayable for me.

All answer can be different, If you post your system specs some might be helpfull to see if your PC can run it.
I only had a issue with the game when I bought it on STEAM, it didn't even start except routing to my EA app. Then refunded, got the game with my EA play sub and game runs great now, when I played it on release I had sometimes little stutters but nothing that felt gamebreaking. They seem gone now and the game runs really smooth at 2560-1440 DLLS Quality, all setting High, RT on

Worked for me for 30 hours, then I got to the "swamp" area and it intermittently crashes all the time.

It runs well enough for me and is highly playable. But as we've seen, YMMV depending on any number of factors both known and unknown at this point.

Connection issues are most likely related to EA app. authentication servers. There were quite a few outages in the week of the release.

Whether the game works for you is guess unless you can try it. You can have crashes, bugs or just abysmal performance on very powerful machines. You can be lucky and it can work at acceptable levels.

I run the game at 1440p, Epic settings, RT enabled and FSR on quality. Im running RT on due to crash introduced in latest patch that crashes my game after few minutes if I play with RT off. I get around 65 - 70 FPS in most places with few exceptions that dip below 60. There is traversal stutter.
My rig is: i9 12900KF, RTX 3080Ti, 32GB DDR5 RAM, NVMe SSD, Win11

Only issue I had was on jedha w/RT on after the 1st update, I just turn RT off as I'm travelling to Jedha. I got 177hrs played, regular game then ng+. Just finished the NG+ run last night. I truly hope Respawn fixes the issues others are having, So, we can finally talk about a certain part(sorry no spoilers from me.).

Played in 4K, although I tweak the engine and what not to my eyes standards. A little reshade to sharpen the graphics. Also Modded the Commanders armor a Imperial version someone made.

I turned off the fullscreen optimalization, turned on the high DPI override to application, disabled EA app from online (went offline mode). I had 0-1 crashes per several hours. Now I have 1 crash per several gaming sessions. As for stuttering or connection issues; never had such issues. So, it's hard to say.

How well you can run the game will still depend on your hardware and your computer's settings. If you generally have your PC setup for actually playing games (debloat a bunch of junk security settings, etc.) maybe you won't have issues.

But keep in mind some people cannot even run the game due to various issues like security settings or other useless nonsense on their PC -- no one knows, only they do.

This game requires Windows 10 or higher, actual latest patched versions applied and not modified or enterprise versions. If not, you may not be able to run the game or it will run badly.

Also, the specs for 8GB GPU are the minimum if you don't want to lag all the time, really though if you want an experience on a higher resolution past 1080p 8GB may not cut it, at least for consistent performance.

Don't do it man, I have a RTX3060ti, 32Gb RAM, and a Ryzen 5 5600X, and I my fps was a crap, started at 60fps, but after 20 minutes it drops to 5 fps, and this is whitout Ray Tracing
